Ready, set, move!

The Good Move is a fun relay race among Emakinians that combines 3 things we all desperately need after months of confinement: physical activity, good IRL social interactions, and contributing to something bigger than us.

The concept is simple: run from your home to one of your colleague's neighbourhood, share a nice moment together while doing something you both enjoy, pass the torch on to them, and revel in the knowledge that you're helping make the world a little bit better.

The race ends in...

  • days
  • Hours
  • Minutes
  • Seconds

Exercising & socialising
for a good cause

Every meter travelled by participants will be converted into funds to the benefit of Fondation Saint-Luc (which Emakina has already helped earlier this year with the Clap and Act campaign), thus supporting medical research, innovation and training.

Cherry on the cake, Emakina will double the funds offered to Fondation Saint-Luc if The Good Move is completed in less time than allotted to all participants.

How To 'Move Good'
In 5 Easy Steps

First of all, be sure to be registered within the the Good Move form

  1. Choose a colleague on the map and contact them to know when they're available to spend time together. Agree upon the time, meeting point and activity you'll both enjoy doing together.
Warning: it must be available to run their turn within 48 hours.
  2. Use any athletic method of transport to reach your meeting place. Motorised vehicles are obviously not allowed: physical exercise is the only acceptable fuel. Don't forget to launch/stop the Fitbit app before/after your trip.
  3. Spend good time with your colleague. Breakfast, brunch, coffee, a stroll in the park... The only thing that matters is that you both have fun. Take pictures of the two of you having a good time.
  4. Pass on the "relay bag" to your colleague and remind them to fully charge the watch and phone.
  5. Share your selfie(s) and activity pics on Workplace in the group Social Time (BE), tag your colleague and add the #TheGoodMove.
And if you wants, share it on Instagram with the tag @emakinabe, @FoundationSaintLuc and use #TheGoodMove
